Notes on CJ installs:
•
Notes on YJ installs:
•
If you have an early YJ, 93 and older, you will need to convert to an external slave cylinder
Notes on TJ installs:
• A 1994(+-) dodge deisel with an NV4500 is a great vehicle to pull the tranni (NV4500), clutch assembly, and inner cooler from. The cluch assembly works with the 4BT, the bellhousing bolts right up to the 4BT, and the inner cooler is the same bolt pattern as your radiator, allowing you to move the radiator behind the inner cooler with drilling new holes in your jeep!
Notes on NV4500 installs:
• An NV4500 from a gas powered application works the best for the 4BT. If you have an NV4500 from a diesel powered application you will need to turn the front bearing retainer down to 1.414" to allow the throw out bearing to fit properly. We will also need to know if the input shaft is 1.125" or 1.25" as well a the inside diameter of the flywheel center hole.
