As mentioned in the introduction a lift kit is required for this conversion. The 4BT
engine is very tall compared to a Jeep engine and physically will not fit under the
hood. The following pages will give you our recommended choices for each of the
Jeep models. There are many lift kits available for every Jeep, different brands
are designed for different uses, be sure and chose a kit that will satisfy your
needs. If you already have a lift on your Jeep, be sure it is 4”, you can always add
a body lift if you need an extra inch or two. |
