ADAPTERS, BELL HOUSINGS, & FLYWEELS

Adapting the 4BT to fit your choice of transmissions will require an adapter plate or a new bell housing. You will need to specify which style engine and which transmission you will be using in order to get the correct part. You may need a new flywheel as well. Certain applications will require extra work and or parts. See chart below for specifics. When using an NV4500, it is best to select one from a gas powered application to eliminate extra modifications.
